Supermoon and Ides of March have a close correlation myth.
Supermoon and Ides of March – Ides of March is March 15 in the Roman calendar where moon shows in full form and Julius Cesar Killed. Devastating earthquake that shook Japan, and the Ides of March which coincides the closest position to the Earth – a phenomenon that popularly known as “SuperMoon” – is expected to reach the peak on March 19, 2011 has become the hottest topics lately. Many rumors that SuperMoon and Ides of March reportedly sparked a lot of terrifying natural disasters – earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, typhoons, and even volcano eruption as written on the history of the earth from decade to decade.
Speculation linking that the devastating earthquake in Japan [and previous earthquake in New Zealand] with a truth presumption of ‘supermoon and Ides of March as a cause of natural disasters’.
Many Astronomy experts said that Supermoon and Ides of March was just gibberish forecasters that are far from science, inconsequential, and tend is to cause entirely unnecessary paranoid .
All experts say that the Supermoon and Ides of March that is occurred on March 15, 2011. But the Moon is in the closest position to the Earth’s orbit is on March 19, 2011.
Astronomers estimate, at this position distance of the moon to the earth is only about 221.556 miles. While the average distance is usually around 239,000 miles. Thus, on 19 March, the Moon will appear larger than the other full moon. Full moon which coincides with the closest distance to the earth, are estimated to be happening again fastest on 14 November 2016.
By a famous astrologer, Richard Nolle [famous for his predictions about the accuracy of terrorist attacks against the WTC that already he predicted in the media since 1993], this phenomenon is called “SuperMoon”. Richard Nolle think that a lot of terrible natural disasters along with this phenomenon before, during, and even after SuperMoon and Ides of March happen.
Supermoon and Ides of March Logic
The logic that used to support about Supermoon and Ides of March assumption is simply like this:
There is a clear link between full moon with geological activity, the full moon gravitational pull can make tidal waves higher than when the moon is not full. Well, if at the ordinary full moon may have higher tide of sea wave, roughly what happens if the full moon occurs at the time where its position closest to the Earth?
This assumption says that, SuperMoon and Ides of March can make the earth’s seismic activity which is experiencing a sharp increase due to the strong tide of moon’s gravitational attraction which is right in line with the earth and the sun. So logically, Supermoon and Ides of March can increase the Earth’s activity. The entrails of the earth-magma-would urge from within and find a gap to get out, then the mountain erupted. High activity in beneath of earth also makes a lot of movement and vibration, which can cause earthquakes.
Mark Paquette, of AccuWeather, on last week, initially did not agree with the Richard Nolle’s assumption that says Supermoon and Ides of March cause a lot of terrible natural disaster.
Other Information. John Metcalfe, through TDB.com published a paper containing details of extreme natural disasters that occurred in earlier SuperMoon and Ides of March.
“Earthquake in Indonesia reached 9 on the Richter scale, Katrina Hurricane in on August 2005-10 days after Supermoon, storm in New England occurred in the month of Sept 1938-three weeks after Supermoon, Hunter River flood in Australia that happen in 1955-2 months before and after the Supermoon. ”
Metcalfe agreed that, “A relationship is not always in the form of causation. It may be that the number of extreme natural disasters that happened was just coincidence, is not caused by SuperMoon and Ides of March “. But John Metcalfe question the coincidence of events was: why there are so many patterned coincidence?
He doubted the claims and theories of experts who show both severe realities that. One was the revelation that he quoted astronomer Peter Wheeler-through news.com.au previously-published an article entitled “Moonageddon”:
“There will be no earthquake and volcanic eruption, except it was about time to happen. [At the time of Supermoon and Ides of March] ocean on earth would experience a wave of a lower ebb than usual and higher tides than usual. Nothing incredibly exciting. ”
Supermoon and Ides of March effect on earth
So, Could the Supermoon and Ides of March make inside of the Earth to tidal-forcing magma out, earthquake, and the tsunami waves? No, according to Byrd. “40 years I wrestle this field, so far I have never found the results of research about it,” said Byrd.
In connection with powerful earthquake followed by tsunami in Japan that happen on March 11. Byrd said that the disaster has nothing to do with Supermoon and Ides of March.
Regarding the possibility of many horrific natural disasters-earthquakes, volcanic eruption, tsunamis, storm-before and after due to the phenomenon of Supermoon and Ides of March, Byrd said,
“Before I answer. Let me ask first: why do I need to scare people with something that is absolutely no scientific basis, even without conclusive evidence? ”
Furthermore, Byrd explained that, even if the floods occurred, it was certainly caused by extreme weather and climate which are indeed extreme since last few years. Not because Supermoon and Ides of March.
